A note for the map

Road, air and season

Fairbanks is the hub. What we can reach, and when, depends on how the road runs and what the weather is doing.

  • On the road system

We run a pump truck and a service truck. Jobs in the borough are scheduled by area, and Jiwoo tells you which day we will be nearest.

    • Fairbanks, North Pole, Ester, Fox

    • Goldstream, Two Rivers, Salcha

    • Delta Junction, Nenana, Healy, Livengood

  • Off the road, by air

We charter a plane. A pump, a tank, fittings and heat cable go in it; the truck stays in town. The driller works out their own way in.

    • Quoted case by case

    • The flight is its own line

    • We need photos and a landing site first

  • By season

Break-up softens driveways, summer rain can wash out a spur road, and freeze-up brings the calls. We say what we can reach before we book.

    • Spring: loaded-truck limits

    • Summer: the digging season

    • Winter: freeze-up calls first

Questions

About where we go

Do you go to places with no road?

Sometimes, by charter. We need photos of the lot, the landing and what is already there, and we quote the flight on its own line.

Is my town on the list?

If it is not, call. The list is where we have worked or can reach on a normal day, not a limit.

Do you go to Anchorage?

No. We don't go south of the Alaska Range. If you are there, call a plumber who is close to you.
