What we do, from the well to the tap

Each job is priced on its own and written down before it starts. The driller's work is quoted by the driller.

Well coordination

We look at the lot, the power and the road in, then meet the driller on site and keep both schedules.

  • Site walk and well location with you

  • On site the day the casing goes in

  • A copy of the well log in your file

A pressure gauge and a blue valve on a pipe against a brick wall

Pumps and pressure tanks

We size the pump to the well and the house, set the tank and controls, and replace what wears out.

  • Submersible and jet pumps

  • Pressure tanks, switches and controls

  • A written note of pressure settings

Water lines and trenching

Lines from the well to the house, buried or run above ground, with the depth and the insulation chosen for your ground.

  • Insulated or buried to suit the lot

  • Yard hydrants and frost-protected taps

  • Crossings marked on a sketch

Winter-proofing

Heat trace, insulation and drain-down plans for new lines and old ones, and thawing for the line that froze.

  • Heat trace on its own labeled breaker

  • Insulation in crawl spaces and under floors

  • Thawing and finding why it froze

Cabin and new-build plumbing

Rough-in and fixtures for cabins, additions and new homes, planned with your builder before the walls close.

  • Rough-in, fixtures and water heaters

  • Floor plans checked for frost and drain slope

  • Inspection visits scheduled with you

Hauled water and holding tanks

For homes without a well: fill lines, tanks and pumps, set up so you can see how much is left before the truck comes.

  • Fill lines that can be drained

  • Tank level you can read

  • Pump and pressure set for the house

A few photos and the road you are on are enough for a first conversation.
